So, I accidently dropped my Die-Nasty on a hard chair few minutes ago… Picked it up, started to play with it, Responsive & the sound is different. When i spin the bearing with my finger it sounds funny. What happened and how to fix ? Suprisingly there are no dents or marks.
Bearings tend to do that sometimes. Hopefully you can play with it and it will go away.
Does the bearing perform the same?
Yes and no. Sometimes it sleeps way less than usual. But sometimes also it sleeps normal.
Maybe there’s something in your bearing…
What happened is it probably bent the cage that holds the balls in the bearing. It is allowing the balls to be where they should be sometimes and then one will move and cause it to not spin well. You may need a new bearing.
