@yuki_onitsura was very helpful In my early stages of yoyoing. I remember my ultimate goal was to learn ladder escape and Yuki gave me some tips on it and a few other basic tricks, I thought he must be a pro or something

And my 14 year old me (well, actually, 16 year old me) would be on a dial up modem connected to a Honeywell DPS8 mainframe running Multics. Man those were good days.

Haven’t really seen anything too cringe-worthy out of me, just the struggles of Wrist Mounts…ok I take that back. My “reviews” on yoyos when I was still in intermediate territory. Today, I feel like I’d have a far better grasp on what I was talking about but at the same time it’s fun to look back at what my thoughts/experiences were during that time with the limited variety of yoyos I’ve played/owned.
Edit: (About to age myself) Wow, didn’t realize I’ve been a member here since late 2010. Makes sense, that’s when I bought my Popstar shortly after joining.
