As promised, here are some pictures, specs, and a little insight into the idea behind our collaboration.
YOYOSAURUS × SPUTNIK: RELIC

The design was largely inspired by two models: the Mustang by Turning Point and the original Borealis by CLYW.
Our goal was to bring together what we loved most about both of them: a yoyo that feels substantial and powerful, yet remains fast and airy in play.
At first glance, these characteristics might seem mutually exclusive. However, by moving away from the conventional weight distribution found in most modern designs, where mass is concentrated towards the outer edges of the rims, we took a different approach.
The combination of double rims and more weight distributed towards the center of the yoyo allowed us to achieve exactly what we were looking for.
On paper, going above 68 grams with a monometal yoyo might sound like overkill. But both after the very first throw and throughout six months of testing, reality turned out to be quite different.
Thanks to its weight distribution and A7075 construction, RELIC feels surprisingly fast, responsive and light in play.
But let’s not forget: it’s still 68.3 grams. So when it comes to power and stability, there’s certainly no shortage of either.
