This thing is huge. Gigantic beast of a yoyo. It is a playful and frolicking beast, however. An absolute joy to play with.
At over 63mm in diameter and nearly 54mm in width, this yoyo is surprisingly light at 67g thanks to the usage of PC plastic and smartly-built 6061 weight rings. The result? A gigantic yoyo that doesn’t feel sluggish in the slightest on the string. For me, the diameter doesn’t get in the way either, I’m still comfortable doing my chopsticks and wrist mount whips with it. I wish it didn’t use 21mm clyw pads though, as the higher walls it mandates near the gap makes things a slight bit awkward and snaggy with thick strings if you lose discipline while putting a lot of string in the gap. If you are looking for something new and have large enough hands to support it, don’t be hesitant to get one.
Ben’s Alphabetacular Grade: A+ (for Abnormally large)
Specs:
Diameter:63.63 mm
Width: 53.38mm
Gap width: Presumably 4.55mm, but unknown
Post: 10mm
Bearing: full C
Pads: 21mm (clyw pads)
Material: 6061 hub and weight rings, PC body.
Speed: 6/10 (5 being dead average pace, 1 being like a prox2, 10 being like yyr overdriven draupnir)
Power: 8/10 (5 being average power, 1 being prox2 again, 10 being TP Hades)
Stability: 9/10 (5 being average stability, 1 being prox2 cus I hate it, 10 being Duncan Evolve or Mk1 HD)
Maneuverability: 6/10 (1 being around using a Dumbbell [the yoyo, not the exercise equipment, although I’m pretty sure the experience would be similar], 10 being like a 7075 wilderness)
This yoyo plays similarly to: nothing i have ever tried. Maybe vaguely akin to an oversized chief? Even then there are a lot of differences.
