If you scroll down on the comments section on this Instagram photo someone mentions Takahiro Iizuka. Do you guys think it would be possible that this is his new signature yoyo? This is purely speculation so take my opinion with a grain of salt but I think that it could be. Then again this could be a random, meaningless comment that I am taking way too seriously.
Thatād be fun. In that case we should expect undersized similar to the 6 and Messiah, but also kinda heavy if he sticks with his usual formula, so weāll have to see.
Really want Ryosuke Iwasawa to come out with another signature throw. The Fragment and Uragment are just breathtakingly good. I want basically a mini Draupnir. 52mmx40mm, 59-60g, hnnnng would seriously buy 3 at least.
Definitely, a mini draupnir sounds amazing, in fact, the only reason I didnāt get one was because it was so big. Hopefully it comes out in time for Christmas, because I already know what I want!
P.s I hope if it is a Takahiro Iizuka signature he makes it lighter than the previous ones. Kind of like a smaller blink. And I would also like the sound of another Ryosuke Iwasawa signature throw.

Iām under the impression that the acrophobia is a larger blink. Is that also true?

Acro lines are a bit sharper than the Blink, E=MC2, and PerfectStar, but you can definitely see the family resemblance.

PerfectStar is really floaty, even at 70g itās one of the floatier yoyos in my collection, super fun, and definitely a big olā brute.

Sorry lighting in my room is awful and my iphone flash just made them super washed out, so thisāll have to do. PerfectStar, Acrophobia, Blink, E=MC^2.
You can see the rim of the Acro is narrower/sharper, and the step is pretty much a sharp angle vs the rest which are a bit more gradual, but definitely all similar.

Also looks like Iizuka in the picture. Was posted on 3A player Yasuki Tachibanaās Instagram though, so thatās another possibility.

Awesome detective work. Looks monstrous! Then again so does the Draupnir haha, must be the camera angle. Had a quick message exchange with Kengo and he said heād be updating the website in a few days. I assume that means selling, so iām excited. Almost looks like a bimetal with an inner rim, but most likely just lighting. If itās pure 7075 iāll be super curious what the pricing is like. Back to Ā„14,800 like the old days? Canāt wait.

Had a friend of mine in Japan help me out with the translating best she could. Not terribly useful, but does give a little bit of insight into the design philosophies of yoyorec and maybe hint at where their focus lies? I donāt know. Turns out the language barrier is the least confusing part of this slide haha. Is each bubble describing a different yoyo? In which case where do we guess the Dazzler, Laser, and Draupnir all fall? Draupnirās 63.5g, Dazzler 63g, so iām assuming the Laser is either lighter than both, or the same-ish weight as the Draupnir, depending on how we interpret the weight and bubbles(i.e. is .5g a barely noticeable move to the left, or a significant shift)? Either way sounds absolutely amazing.
The ādoesnāt turnā is the label for the bottom axis thatās cut off in the photo btw.
Thank you so much, and it does look fairly large, I donāt think it would be a Takahiro Iizuka signature with that size. Also, if it is priced like that, itās a for sure buy for me. And my interpretation of that chart is that it is significantly lighter than both, I donāt think .5 grams would be that big a difference.
