How are the Triplet and Attune? I’m receiving a Triplet in a trade (my first YYR!) and the Attune has always been one of the ones I’ve wanted to try the most, as I’m a huge fan of Akitoshi Tokubuchi.
They are both quite nice. Every single throw in my YYR collection is great, with the possible exception of the Six. I haven’t played the Six yet, as it came missing a response pad, and I haven’t siliconed it yet. I bought it straight from YYR brand new as well.
The attune is my favorite of the bunch. If you like strong stable throws, you’ll like the attune. The triplet is almost as good for me. Bear in mind I’m a noob and solid and stable are the things that help me the most. I’m still trying to smooth out my matrix, and hit it a higher percentage of the time to give sopme idea where my skill is.
I was throwing the Attune just this morning, and really digging it. Was nailing the Matrix almost effortlessly, and quite smoothly, and hitting about 90%. Probably my best matrix practice session yet.
To those that own it: do you think the Draupnir’s price tag is justified? Im thinking about it but the price is the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger.
Hello folks, been a lurker for quite a bit, but the Draupnir discussion has been very interesting to follow.
Tried the Draupnir yesterday (a shop owner’s), and it’s just simply amazing. The walls are so thin, but yet it’s super stable.
And on a related note, YYR will release Draupnir in two new color options beside the raw:
Raw with colored rims (unsure what color the rims are)
Red with colored rims
EDIT: I’m not supposed to post links to other retail sites, sorry!
What exactly is the dazzler? I keep seeing it talked about but I haven’t heard any actual info on it. I know it’s another super high end like the draupnir, but anyone know anything else?
