I’ve been putting off getting a Sleipnir for ages. Had I known how much I would have wanted one then I would have grabbed one from the UK stores before they all sold out. Alas.
As an outsider poking into the YYR thread, I find it interesting both by the words and by the pictures how many models are so identical in appearance that you can’t always even tell what you’re looking at. 
You would have overpaid. Buy straight from the source.
Why mess with perfection? Small shape changes, size, and weight variations make all YYRs play both amazing and radically different from one another. Win-win. It also makes it easy to tailor a yoyo to your needs. If you like design A, but wish it was smaller, heavier, or slightly wider, you can usually find a model that fits your preferences.

Plus it saves all the hassle of different “runs”. I hear so much talk about different CLYW runs/weights with people looking far and wide for a precise run/weight that fits their needs. Makes so much more sense just to have each one still in production but just labelled differently so people can pick and choose what fits them the best.
After all, its only the colourways that give away different CLYW runs. If they were all raw you wouldn’t be able to tell a Pekka Chief from a 1st run Chief by looking at one either… same with Supernovas vs Supernova Lites.
How does a 2011 clash play? I am temp trading for one
I’ve only owned a '10 and '13, but i think the '11 is supposedly one of the lightest runs and should play amazingly.
Now I’m confused. Some Clashes play differently and have different specs, but DON’T have different names?
Every year Yoyoreacreation makes a slightly modified version of the clash. For example the 2011 is supposed to be slightly lighter
The names are as follows: Clash 2010, Clash 2011, Clash 2012, and Re Clash(aka Clash 2013), also the Clashcube. Pretty straightforward. It’s basically the model they make for 44Clash every year hence the name, the Clashcube and Re Clash are radically different in shape, the others are similar, but different enough. Technically the Clashcube was Clash 2010 and the original Clash was 2009, but there’s so few of the originals around it doesn’t matter too much. It’s a cool concept and pretty easy to keep track of imo. Certainly beats random weight runs and multiple alloys with absolutely no distinction at all like we see with some companies.
