Hey @Mazdarx7FD any plans to do a pheasant mono rerun? Just curious
Hi, sorry but not currently. However we have great signature monometal like the Shine and Graviton:Y.
Compelling you to get a Graviton: Y. Such a good yoyo.
Do you prefer it to the bimetal?
Never tried it, I want to though.
I do have a shine. Have yet to try a graviton y
I’m up voting the Graviton:Y as a top tier monometal out of the box for 2024. I have collection of Pheasants monometals but what I think besides Gravy(nickname for the Graviton:Y) being an excellent design it has an excellent choice in bearing. Tony design thinking about this to add a good bearing is smart. The Pheasant bearing is lacking top tier performance needs a major replacement in my opinion to give it more spin time. I was rather surprise comparing the two yo-yos I would be complaining how bad the bearing in the Pheasant under performs spin time wise.
For me, the Ultra Spotlight, Graviton:Y and Pheasant monometal are top tier competition performers. Any improvement would be bearings. Pads are excellent out of the box.
My Graviton:y had a really crunchy bearing in it. I put a tiny tiny drop of lube on it which quietened it up, but it went responsive. Swapped it out for a spare centre track I had and it’s much better.
