Ok so, I hope this counts (it probably wont but I don’t wanna lie just to be able to win something because then I wont feel good about it) I haven’t tried skyva but as a yoyoer who loves yoyo’s so much, I’m sure its absolutely amazing and as what I have been told by others its incredible! I do hopefully hope one day I will be able to get one, I have Lyme Disease and getting treated for this is INSANELY expensive so I haven’t been able to work or go to contests or buy any new yoyos because of this, HOWEVER I do own a Octavia by Luftverk that was gifted to me by several yoyoers who pitched in and bought it for me, and its so good, so no doubt any yoyo’s made by Jeffrey Pang is absolutely amazing! :-*
So my Old English White Skyva is probably one of the more stylishly “simple” designs that I truly enjoy. In addition to that, it’s easily in the top 3 of Must Have plastic throws. Amazing design, Jeffrey. Well done.
Orange and yellow are the new skyva colors I chose. What I love about the skyva is that it’s a collab, something special about two company working together. The cup of the skyva which make fingerspins easy I love it!
I really loved the weight and feel of the skyva. It never felt lesser then any metal I had and really pushed my play.
I would love a yellow or orange Skyva!
I love how the Skyva can do finger spin longer than most yoyo’s out there. The price tag is also great as it is very affordable. It can handle any trick I make it do. Truly this is a great all around yo-yo.
I can not fingerspin any yoyo but a Skyva. Although, I’m beginning to get a feel for the whole ‘loose finger’ thing, and I’m thinking that Skyva is going to teach me to finger spin other yoyos. Thanks Jeff!
The skyva is truthfully my favorite yoyo, even among my $100 plus metals and performance machines. It just has such a perfect feel and is so premium. Great job Jeff!
I love my skyva it really helped drastically improve my fingerspin game great throw looking forward to new colors so I can get each one my family one for Christmas we all get thrower lol. ;D
The Skyva is a remarkable yoyo. It has a wonderfully solid feel and has amazing stability particularly for a yoyo of its width, largely down to the cleverly designed rims I suspect. The design aesthetic is superb with beautiful packaging and stylish pigment choices for the yoyos themselves. I throw a grey one myself and my son has the antique white colour, they are a lot of fun! The response pads are nice and snappy and the centering bearing is smooth, quiet and long spinning. It also has the machined locking finger cup which aids finger spins, which I was unable to do before using this yoyo! A feature which is unique to this yoyo.
So there it is, the Skyva is not just a good ‘plastic’ yoyo but a remarkable throw in its own right. Lastly the price point is ridiculously low, getting on for half the price of other great premium plastics such as the diffusion and the big dipper. While simultaneously blowing them out of the water! I can’t recommend it enough. Jeffrey Pang is the man.
