Does it feel cheap or breakable? In a way. I cant describe it.
How does it handle fast play? It handles fast play well. Really well for a bigger yoyo. It handles fast play kindof like my dif e yo Juggernaut. Fast, but not to fast. Think Ford mustang to Ferrari.
How responsive to lacerations? Not responsive at all. I can do all the lacerations i want.

I accepted the fact that I was wrong, I didn’t realize I had said that it was vibe, I meant the instability was what causes smooth yoyos to vibe (bad throws) more often. Like I had said before that is what I was told so long ago when I started yoyoing. I can’t tell you who told me but whoever it was your lucky your not me right now. I’m sorry for the trouble I have been, maybe I will make posts every once in a while and update my WTF² posts but that will be it for now.
Does anyone know what the NorthStar is actually made of? I haven’t ever seen a definitive answer. From the pictures, it kind of looks like celcon. Uncertain answers I’ve seen suggest it’s polycarbonate.
I love the solid, “heavy” feel of a celcon yoyo. A polycarbonate yoyo can be the same weight as a celcon and still feel lighter, “hollow” and cheap like it would break easily. If the NorthStar is celcon, I’d have to give it some serious consideration.
It feels hollow and seems WAY lighter then 69 grams or whatever it is. Im going to have to guess polycarbonate, cause it doesnt feel like my lyn fury or legacy.
Anyone else have a small bump in the center of theirs? I’ve been emailing YYF support and they have been awesome and responding to me through the weekend. It sounds like it’s from the axle but I haven’t really done any digging personally. It sounds like it’s not highly unusual so I’m mainly just curious to see if any other people are experiencing it with theirs.
