YoYo Cases

hey guys, i’m looking for a sturdy yoyo bag, in the style of laptop case bag, you know like the Yomega discontinued one, in an affordable price range. the new WERDD is a bit pricy, and i also live in the UK
any help you could give would be great
thanks guys!

You can actually make your own pretty easily. I’d try looking on youtube for some tutorials on how to.

This was the vid I used.

yeah i was thinking of making my own
but…
where and what kind of foam do i get? i live in the UK, so UK sites only if you have any please

If you have any fabric or arts and crafts stores in your area, you could probably just by it from their. I’m not sure if it’s any special type of foam, just generic foam.

Go to dunelm mill. They have foam there

I have even heard of people using the foam from a couch that was being thrown out. Otherwise fabric stores can hook you up with the real good stuff.

My favorite. Search and find an old brief case.

Purchase foam. To cut the foam to fit the brief case, prefit and outline it with a Sharpy. Then use an electric knife and cut to fit.

To cut the holes for the yoyos. Get a cordless drill and a bit that’s used to cut doorknob holes in doors. It can be the cheapest bit. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k9/MikeSr63/81McQUWYSFL__AA1500_.jpg

When you cut the holes run the drill in reverse and the cuts will smooth and professional.

Yo4Joy - Very nice case. Good description of how to proceed too.

MichaelYoYo93 - you should be able to find a suitable laptop type bag at various outlet or second hand stores.

the only problem i see is that when you are done drilling down, do not run the drill in reverse. continue in the same direction and pull up

You don’t reverse, you drill through. Each hole holds two yoyos.

There are 96 yoyos in there!?! :o

Yes, it’s full.

You can try using this: http://shop.yoyoexpert.com/product/242/PHENOM-Yo-Yo-Bag

I’m not trying to take food off the store owners table here, but I like having all my yoing stuff in as few cases as possible and not scattered about. This is my yo shop and case. Hold 25 plus yoyos and gear.
