What would cement this post for week 2 is if Mr. Glen @Glenacius_K sponsored the week with a Wood Harbinger…
I think it would be cool to add product placement in the post if we get other donations!

Man, I’ve been crossing my fingers that this person on OfferUp gets back to me about this No Jive they are selling for $10. If they get back to me (don’t get your hopes up, it’s already been a few days with no response) I’ll donate it as a prize.
My thought and yall are welcome to tear it apart or mold it to be better.
Either we have a DJ like person who narrates pre and post demo what your going to see and some quipy comments and each trick is just a demo of the trick nothing more. Then we link external references to already established tutorials hosted elsewhere to the post.
Or each trick is explained and each demonstrator goes through how to do said trick. In this case the DJ is really just opening and closing the video with maybe a few comments between each demo.
Either way works the first option just requires trick execution on camera and some commentary relying on external links for the walkthroughs and step by step. while the second one requires much more time for the demonstrators as they have to slow it down and break it into elements and potentially talk.
With the time we have I suggest first option personally. Reduce the complexity and rely on the many amazing existing tutorials we can link for each trick we are presenting
Next year if we host FAF again we can add new tutorials to the scope of the demand but right now I feel that might be out of scope and too much effort for the timeline to be honest.
That said if the demonstrator wants to breakdown a specific element or show different angles that doesn’t hurt but does add more editing. (I’ll manage lol)
Celebrity/Bonus Trick #4 Secured for FAF!!!
I love Option 1. But we need “Host(s)”.
What trick from week one do you have a special guest doing so we know which ones still need video?
And if each week there’s 4 tricks, one of which is a link to the YYE tutorial and one is a special guest, are we thinking only 2 tricks need filming? Or should we still film the YYE tutorial trick?
I can host. I used to do a ton of video back in the day.
Technically the host doesn’t even need to video themselves they could be a voice over
The Celebrity Videos are “Bonus” tricks in addition to our trick list.
I have had 4 individuals that most people know of commit to providing a clip. One so far is a Original created by the individual.
So we will need 3 out of the 4 tricks filmed (Beginner Trick will be a link).
Great, sounds good! So the question is: Do you guys have a preference on which trick you’d like to film @Overtinkering and @Ardeus ?
There may be shirts available now…they may be available in 6 different colors.
AWESOME!!!
Do the 3 inch stickers come out to 1.9 to place on a yoyo?
Unfortunately, they do not. I can’t get smaller than 3" unless I do sticker sheets, like the ones I ordered for prizes…and then I can’t do holo.
I could try sizing it so those could be CUT to 1.9…
I am not too sure how to do the last one enough for a tutorial the first two I’ve already done tutorials for.
I’m going to review them and reshoot them I think.
Can we just use one that already exists? Dont necessarily need to “Redo it”.
I was thinking about re shooting say a more efficient version but I did a collection of tutorials last year. Push myself and try that kind of thing. I made each video and a slow motion to supplement it.

I’m not expert or authority, but I’m passionate hope there was value to people.
Why would I reshoot it well I just want to make sure it’s up to snuff for the boomers.
Nate did such a fantastic job last year with his presentation explanation.
I don’t have the equipment or the finesse that he does but I think there’s some value in the videos I’ve done.
If they do meet the expectations then yeah absolutely that’s just reuse them.
I was just imaging something like this since it’s week 1.
Nothing too crazy. But may take someone who has never done it before a little while to figure out.
Ok that is fair.
No talking, clean visually.
Oh I know that trick haha i enjoy that one. I’m terrible with names haha
Maybe since you’re already planning on re-shooting some of yours, you could cover Brother and Under Mount Stall, and I can film the back and forth Lunar Stalls? Give @Ardeus a break since we’ll be asking him to film the more difficult stuff in the later weeks.
