I love Red Yoyos as well. I was going to order that Workhorse but just couldn’t pass up the Space Wagon YYBC branded one.

Initial impressions are great. Haven’t had enough time tossing it yet to say for sure. The look/finish is stellar. Swapped it in place of my Weekender as my daily carry. Haven’t had much time to play but the first thing I miss is my pull starts over and over again. LOL!

I have noticed that mine is no longer as snappy as it was when it arrived. I’m gonna try a thicker string first, then try a bit of silicon grease in my bearing.

You can still pull start it 
rent your thumb and middle nails under the rim, letting it rest on them, and then pull start!

Workhorse fits a 4mm wide d bearing which fixed the sluggish response and makes it more 0a focused.

When I had the V1 proto I had it laced up with thick string, a 4mm bearing, and topped it off with silicon grease. It was mega snappy, but in a good way. Very consistent and reliable.

That is part of the Beauty and design of this yoyo. We wanted it to be “Tuneable” to the Owners style.
Its easier to make a Yoyo more responsive, than make it more unresponsive.
Thicker Lube, Slimer Bearing, thicker string… it will play how you want it too.

I was really torn between the space wagon and the cherrry bomb, so I did the only sensible thing and got one of each. They just arrived (along with a Plasm)!

It’s not. Mark put up one of each color on his site on a hidden page, just to test things out in preparation of the release. Saw someone post about getting one in the mail, which led to me searching and finding the hidden page, at which point only the yellow and green were left. After some questions, Mark explained what had happened, and I messaged him and told him to cancel my order as I didn’t want to be taking advantage of a mistake, but he said it was like a practice run for him.
Should be released soon though!
Edit: By the time I rediscovered throwing, the RBC’s were sold out everywhere, and I really wanted one. I’ve been stalking the BST looking for a used one, but maybe now that I have a Plasm I can stop searching. I still want a KNack and a Blood Cell at some point, hoping Glen makes some more.

I’ve had the Workhorse V1 PIF for nearly a month now, so it’s almost time to send it on to the next person. I will be adding a couple of 3D printed responsive throws to the package. I probably won’t be able to send it out until this coming weekend, but figured I should get the ball rolling now. If anyone’s interested, please let me know! If there’s no interest by early next week, I’ll plan on sending it home.
And wow, talk about great timing receiving my Workhorses!

I haven’t had a lot of time with it yet. It came in Saturday and i have been working nonstop since then. I am off the next 2 days so hopefully i will be able to put it through the paces. First impressions though I have really enjoyed it. Feels smaller in the hand than i anticipated. Really wish i had the funds back when emails for the founders editions went out. I will post more thoughts after I have had a little more time with it.

The week I spent with is was very nice. Everything we wanted to change about V1 really had a positive impact in play. I want to get some more thoughts together on it, but I had all my wisdom teeth removed and I’m out of the game for a minute. I’ll just sit on the couch and fiddle with while watching true crime documentaries.
