I know there’s probably a link in this thread SOMEWHERE, but can anyone point me to where I can snag D bearing blanks for my Workhorse?

The ZRGT blank is really cool, but in my experience a bricked slim D bearing works a bit better due to it not having the slanted walls on either edge. The walls are great in one sense because it allows the “axle” to be smaller than a D size bearing, but it has the added affect of keeping the string away from the response pads.

So just a slim D bearing with some super glue in it?

Precisely. It seems more reliable with the response.

The blank is nice in that it feels like cheat mode on a blank. You get allot more spin than usual

You are talking about the ZGRT blank being a “cheat mode”? I’m fascinated by this whole conversation so just trying to make sure I’m following along correctly.

Yeah, you trade a bit of reliable response for more spin time. The smaller diameter of the ZRGT blank lends itself to more spin time. But if you’re playing more stall based then the additional reliability of response is more important.

I would caution against a “Slim” or Half Spec D Bearing.

If Bricking a Bearing = D x 4mm.

The posts in this yoyo are still too long for the Dx3mm or Half Spec.

While the ZGRT D Blank “Is” 3mm It works because the flares touch the side of the yoyo and do NOT go into the bearing seat.

PST.. you can shim it. Or be a @Slestak75 and shave the post I guess

I would fully discourage anyone from trying to get a 3mm D functioning in the Workhorse. A 4mm works in the unmodified Workhorse however the posts meet before fully squeezing down on the bearing. It works but I don’t like to have mine that way so I shaved a little bit of my posts on my proto. My production I have kept stock. Both ways play amazingly but the 4mm is quite responsive. Quite responsive.

I gotta say, with workhorse proto 1, it was super fun fixied up and even more fun unresponsive, but workhorse proto v2 is just so perfect as it is. Doesn’t need a thing, except a fresh ZipLine prestige or diamond blend. Imho, of course.

I was looking at my silicone phone case and thought why not have one for my workhorse. Dreamed up the Cup of Yo.

I love the thickness and texture of the ano. It’s such a comfy and nice throw.

I carry mine with me every day. Love the size, rounded rims, and feel of the anno. Thought I’d like it more with the weight rings. I was wrong. I ended up putting the rings in my Pilgrim
