that is a good looking DV888. I have a soft spot for the DV888 as it was my first metal yoyo. I still donāt understand the hate it getsā¦

You can knock a few grams off your M2 if you feel like it.
Using a lighter, plenty of ventilation, proper ppe and an orange stick.
Leaves a silver sticker/cap. But my sticker area look larger compared. Prob a different run and shouldnāt endorse modification

I think most of the hate is from its setup out if the box which frankly, is really bad. People also complain that itās too heavy and has too much centerweight with is a load of rubbish, it has huge amount of rim weight.

For me dv888s just play like rocks on a string, doesnāt make them the worst by any means. Mine is very capable, Iāve never had it be the reason I didnāt pull off a trick. Would I buy another, absolutely not. Is it the worst yoyo I own, absolutely not. At this stage my only real issue with it is price. Far too many cheaper throws with better feeling and better performance due to age.
