Just bought this yo yo and it’s playing unresponsive,… I know that’s the way people are playing now but I’m just not at that level yet. what can I do to make it just a little more responsive?

k I’ll give it a try. I did take it apart and noticed that the lube that’s in there now is quite thin.
Used a little clipper oil and it seemed to clear it up a bit but still every once in a while it’s totally unresponsive.
Yes, these shouldn’t be unresponsive. My friend had one and when i used it… it came right back up! The only time it would sleep was when you threw it really hard. Anyways you can try putting a mini rubber band on axle, covering the end of the string try that out it might work.

Clipper oil is very thin. So it acts like thin lube. Try to get some 3-n-1 oil from your local hardware store or walmart. This is a great thick lube.
