what word do you use for the act of using a yo-yo (a non-yoyoer friend of mine and i were talking about it just now)
Throwing mostly, but sometimes yo-yoing.

Yeah, I use “throw” usually as well. Like, “I think I’ll go to the park and throw for a while.”

I use throw as a noun and a verb.
Such as… “Man, I got a cool new Throw today.”
And… “Man, Imma go to the back and throw for awhile.”
I also will say things like… “Oh hey, you guys sell Yoyos. I’m a thrower, so thats awesome!”
But, every once in awhile I’ll say, “Gonna go for a toss in the garage.”

I always just say yo-yoing, because few people around me would understand if I said throwing.
