.June 6th.. Happy National YoYo Day

Throw something today other than a brick.

Best choice would be ‘a YoYo’.

I have no doubt that the innocent passerby you killed with that brick Was probably one of the upcoming best yo-yo players on earth. And had you not killed the up-and-coming great with your fool hardy Behavior, that yo-yo player would’ve gone on to create the most amazing tricks ever seen in the history of spinning toys, and also move the entire yo-yo scene into the next dimension of awesomeness.

The burden of responsibility for destroying the future of modern yo-yo’s falls squarely on your shoulders And I have no doubt that even if you live a long and otherwise fruitful life that eventually, when you drop dead, you will no doubt die screaming.

And you have only your violent tendencies and outbursts Of psychotic behavior to blame for this debacle. May the imperial leader have mercy on your miserable soul. I wouldn’t trade places with you for 1 million bucks.

I threw a brick which destroyed a window and dealt a fatal blow to a passerby.

And who says it ain’t June 6th! You’re just living in the past.

THANK YOU YOU TOO

Not sure whose grandma or great grandma this is? But I saw this video accidentally. And then I clicked on her Instagram page and that old lady doing all kinds of stuff.

I don’t mean to be disrespectful by saying old lady on kinda because I’m an old man. And if she lived in my neck of the woods, I would not hesitate to look her up and throw around some yo-yos. What a great fine for national yo-yo day… In my personal opinion.

Obviously, we know there’s a ton of kids probably down to five or less that are starting to throw yo-yo‘s around. But it’s not that often that you see somebody that has already traveled a long road in life.

If you end up watching any of her videos… Focus a little time on looking at her facial expressions. She loves throwing yo-yos. And in some of the videos, it appears that she takes a yo-yo with her to throw around all over the place.

Definitely an ambassador to keep yo-yo going.

That’s Renee. She’s also an ITSA member so she throws a mean spin top. I’ll text her and let her know you’re impressed

I am well aware of the fact that it is generally or I should say almost always or maybe even zero tolerance to deliberately direct potential yo-yo sales to other sites that sell skill toys.

But considering it’s national yo-yo day weekend so to speak… I’m gonna make an exception.

I found a skill toy catalog, as I was rummaging through my over abundance of yo-yo related paraphernalia.

It’s pretty old… So I’m not sure if the place has anything left in stock? But if they do… It might be worth a look or two to possibly score on a deal from the past.

It’s an infinite illusions catalogue from the year 2004. It’s got some pretty cool stuff in it. The prices are pretty amazing then again it is kind of old.

It even has an image of one of my old signature yo-yos I think when they originally stocked up on them… The inventory count was only one and I’m pretty sure they immediately sold out of that particular yo-yo sometime in the first month of its release? So that’s probably not gonna be a potential purchase.

But anyway, just in case, so if you have nothing better to do. You can step back in time for a minute and look at a few pages from this cool old catalog.

Actually, way back then… Even Andre used to shop there, lol the guy that owned that site, now has a candy store and an ice cream truck last I heard.

I wonder if he sells yo-yos in his candy store? I’ve never asked anybody that…

PS… check out that page with the wooden yo-yo selections. Pretty cool stuff. If the images come out stacked on one page… Just click on them individually to open them up to a full window.

Mmm. Final gen BC. I have 2 of those Spitfires. One in that exact color! They’re more rounded out than the first gen. I wish my RD1 was in that laminate. And I wish I hadn’t lost the weight rings…
