I know I am posting a ton of threads lately but I well never mind.
For you yelets owners… Which side effects madeplay like a tank/ made it in between less floaty and less tank(in the middle)? ;D

It comes stock with ULs so I doubt you could make it floatier…
It would definitley play tankiest with Brass Domes.
Hmm brass domes… I’ll edit the floaty part out… Now I need to get a side effect that the weight is in the middle of those two.
Can’t find Brass Domes anywhere…any substitutes?
None of the above, if I am not playing it with Ultra lights then Stunt Pegs are the only way to go. This yoyo feels like it is made for them.
.. Where can you get stunt pegs(I am not going to the OD shop just to get them --)
Good, cause you can’t find them there. sigh
._. sigh If I could find someone that would sell them to me on the bst nudges saintrobyn XD
We’ve all been there.
I am curious about this statement. Why are stunt-pegs so good for the Yelets?
I am not questioning your statement - just curious as to why the stunt-pegs stand-out with this throw.
What are stuntpegs for? Matador? Catching with the string?
Definitely the intended purpose is for catching with the string. Not that you couldn’t experiment. They strike me as being too blunt for matador, but then, I suck at matador so far.
Nice, now I know which One Drop to use my stunt pegs with! I bought a Code 2 to use them with, but the Code 2 is so wide, that the stunt pegs barely stick out.
Also, good luck finding stunt pegs. I had to cough up $40 for a set.
Currently the only way to get a set is to put an ad in the BST. One Drop currently is undecided on whether to make them again.
It has everything to do with the shallower cup allowing the pegs to stick out farther plus the overall smaller nature of the yo-yo. They are just plain easier to catch with this yo-yo. Honestly I have spent most of my time with the Yelets seeing exactly how many different ways I can catch it on the pegs and figuring out how to get myself out of the messes I have gotten myself into. ;D
They are used for catching the string. I have done ninja vanish, hidemasa hook, and various other tricks catching the pegs instead of the gap of the yo-yo. gyro flops are quite odd and cool looking on the pegs. Former One Drop team member put out a cool video where he caught the yo-yo horizontally on his palm and it spun like a top. There are many cool things to do with them. They are squarely in the novelty category but at the same time they are a text book example of how Side Effects can add a completely new level of play to a yo-yo.
When I was struggling to find Stunt Pegs, I e-mailed One Drop asking if they were going to make more, they said they didn’t think they were going to make anymore.
Okay so since stunt pegs are unavailible I took them out of the poll.
Just take the poll down and leave the discussion. The poll doesn’t answer the questions you are asking in the initial post and it does not include all of the current Side Effects. Plus, there is nothing wrong with including the Stunt Pegs, just because they are not currently sold by One Drop does not mean they are not out there to be had… it just means people have to work harder to obtain a set. Not being critical of the poll I just think the discussion you are getting about the Yelets and how it plays with different Side Effects is much more productive and will give quite a bit more in depth information.
Here is a list of all the current Side Effects that have been produced by One Drop and how much they weigh:
Thank you I’ll make another thread.
Yep Jhb probably hates me for making so many threads now.
Which Side effects do you guys use on your side effect one drops? ;D
Please stop posting. Your other thread was fine. Side effects play exactly like their weights indicate. If you want heavy, then get heavy(brass domes, brass spikes, brass Code 1, etc.), if you want in the middle, get something in the middle(spikes, domes, etc.), it comes with ultralights so that’s as light as it will get.
