I really like titanium yo-yos.
I like mono, metal titanium yo-yos
I like titanium yo-yos with stainless steel rings
I certainly have enough of each. Matter fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that I have too many of each.
And if youāre dead set on a titanium yo-yo just because you want a yo-yo made out of titanium I would certainly be one of the last people to try to figure a way to talk you out of it lol.
But that being said and understoodā¦ I have a suggestion that might actually save you a few bucks and shock you by how good this yo-yo is.
Yogurt did a review on this particular yo-yo around one month ago. Excellent review with some very very nice images to go along with the dialogue.
Hereās the catchā¦ Itās not titanium. But it looks pretty much like titanium. It feels at least pretty much similar to titanium. Not exactly the sameā¦ You can feel a little more density when you have the yo-yo in your hand itās hard to explain, but itās a reality.
Little smaller than what would be considered a bigger yo-yo, but a big bomb can sometimes be found in a small package.
The yo-yo is made by Sputnik.and is called the EOS. Itās stainless steel and is made with a precision second to none.
Sometimes people that have been around for a while and have thrown a good number of yo-yos will be asked by other players if theyāve ever played this model or that model? Have you ever tried such a such yo-yo blah blah blah?
And the response might be oh yeah I think I tried it, but I donāt remember if I liked it or not? Or Iām not sure right off handā¦ But yeah I think Iāve tried it and it was OK that I remember?
This yo-yo does not fit in that category. If you try this Sputnik, yo-yo, and five years from now someone asked you hey by the way, have you ever thrown this Sputnik EOS yo-yo? Youāll remember because youāll probably still have the one you bought and maybe a few more just in case lol.
This yoyo is so good that I will stop there because Iām not good enough to tell you actually how good the sucker is? But Iāll tell you one thing if you ever get a chance to try one youāll most likely buy one and never look back.
To me the most amazing thing about this yo-yo is the fact that very few people have one Iāve thrown one Iāve heard of one or anything else of that nature? It is outstanding.
There is a good variety currently of titanium yo-yos on the market or that can be found on the BST. And like I said, I certainly wouldnāt try to discourage somebody from buying a titanium yo-yo if thatās what theyāre fixed on.
But as much as I like my herd of titanium yo-yos, if I wouldāve come across one of these EOS yo-yos a long time ago, I couldāve saved myself a whole lot of money.
And interestingly, because of the shape and the construction of the yo-yo, when itās spinning, you can flick it on the rim and itāll ring very similar to a titanium. Of course, if you decided to walk the dog with it I donāt think it has the same sparking potential as titaniumā¦. lol
