Yoyojam Titan Gold

Anyone interested in a Titan Gold from yoyojam for $10,000? Only 10 were made and each yo-yo was made with Titanium and 22k Gold. From a collector’s standpoint, the first titanium yo-yo. And each yo-yo contains about 1/4 ounce of gold for rim weighting. Gold market today, that is $1200 just for the gold. Click on the link to view it.

Emails preferred, but I can now receive board messages. DH

$10,000? Is that a typo?

its cool and everything, but i’m not a millionaire.

One sold on eBay in 2023 for $6600 for reference.

If that’s true, asking $3400 above last sold when the market is very much down since then is an interesting sales tactic.

Holy moly

Yes, that is a typo

When dave was typing in the numbers, he sneezed, and at the same time he accidentally hit the backspace key

He really wants $100,000 for the $800 yo-yo..

From what I heard the guy that bought that other Titan for $6600 he actually had $10,000 cash in his pocket at the time

But he got stupid and bought the yo-yo first for $6600. And then the next day he went out and spent the other 3400 on a straight jacket.

Dave can ask any price he wants for a yo-yo. There is an old saying… You can ask somebody anything. The worst they can do is say no…

But that being said, in today’s economy, if a person had $10,000 burning a hole in their pocket, they’d be better off just contacting somebody like Lear capital and buying $10,000 worth of physical gold. At least of the economy goes really bad, you’d have something you could turn into a ham sandwich and a large Coke, lol.

You bounce 10 high for a yo-yo and that’s what you got……. a yo-yo.

Valid price if the rims are solid gold, because gold is pretty high right now. If that’s a true gem-quality mined sapphire, that adds to the price. And if the engraving has gold pressed, not painted, that adds more gold value. The sapphire is also set in gold, I can see.

This is why I very seldom bother with the board. Anything I post is attacked and creates an argument. Most of you are not real collectors. Rarity, quality, condition, history, availability set the price. I base the price on the dollar value that I will part with the item. Don’t meet it, I keep it. My items are new, unplayed. Many of you try to compare my pricing (new in box) to items sold on this board that were played, beaten, cracked. Then expect to buy new in box for the same price.

Titan Gold is #6 of only 10. Exceedingly RARE. Rarer than an TK Aspen Snowflake (and I have been offered $6000 for my last Aspen, and it is made of wood). New in box, unplayed. It was the first ever Titanium yo-yo. It contains REAL 22k gold, and Gold is near $5000 an ounce. In 2023, Gold was under $2000.

You see, a real Collector looking for one of these for years, missing only this from their collection, will be interested. Back to ignoring this board. Just Remember, every time you look at the museum, it is there because of me. You’re welcome.

@yoyodave42 you cannot let what a couple of cats commenting on your price on a yoyo board be the end of the world man. many people don’t know your contributions to the community, but having a meltdown will not solve anything. folks that don’t like the price need not comment on it or have to buy it. you and i always haven’t agreed, but we have had some great yoyo discussions. and i think this could be a great time for one. i haven’t seen this yoyo before and it’s arguably the highest priced yoyo i’ve seen. if @yoyodoc doesn’t already have it, maybe he’ll beat you up on the price a bit, i don’t know.

So what you’re really saying is that the value of the gold in the yoyo increased by like $700…

People are over analyzing this. While yes I collect and play my yoyo’s this post isnt for us peasants, this is for that one who would spend the 10k with out even sweating it just because they didnt want a empty spot on the shelf. The $whales that are watchers of the forums.

Yes, I’m actually quoting myself. I’m not really sure how Dave missed that part?

Can we at least see a picture of it?

i think because it’s ‘new in box’, he can’t really break the seal - hence the reference to his website. but, a pic of the box may work lol. per bst rules there has to be a pic to show ownership to sell.
