Mine was for about a week but has been fine since it has broken in. I polished the insides and smoothed the axel with a piece of leather and bees wax.
Smooth the axle with leather works? I gotta try that.
and bees wax or burts bees chapstick so it smells nice!

Just have to have your gap/response/string/throw properly dialed. And be smooth. Ok so that’s a lot of variables, but stick with it.
I’ve tried this out on my no jive, Baldwin, treehugger and just for fun RW.
The most I’ve gotten is 2 full rotations and bring it back. Once I try the third rotation it always stops the spin. I want to try it in a stall, as this seems like the coolest way, but I’ll be trying that out a little later.
Hitting kick lips more consistently now and hit my first one hand stall last night.
That one handed stall was a bit difficult to hit. Now to get it consistently…
