well it is widely available … all of the main stores had it in stock. I am sure if only YYE carried it … it would have sold out or something. OD mentioned plenty of times that they would make many many runs of this.
I siliconed mine… I LOVE IT!!! I like tight binds and I play mine with spikes which makes it a bit heavier…
It would have been awesome to have them come stock with the spikes … cus then I would have an extra pair of spikes lol ;D
I just dont like the looks of the ultra lights…
this is what happens … when we have so many choices of SIDE EFFECTS … I think its a good thing!!!

Here is mine… So far I am loving this yoyo… Super solid and very stable… To me it plays more like an Avalanche than a Cascade. The weighting is just fantastic. I am planning a review once I have it a little bit longer… Very happy with it though!!!
It is a really comfortable throw. It felt great with the stock ultralights but feels perfect when I added some weight.

I have been rocking mine with code1s.
I swapped out the stock side effects for purple spikes and I ended up with a light blue Summit. The purple on blue is killer, I’ll post a pic when I have time. I also really feel like the Summit plays more similarly to the Arctic Circle than either the Cascade or the Avalanche. It plays very smooth and very well though. It’s an easy throw to fall in love with. It’s one of those yoyos that plays well and really goes where you want it to go.
Just got my Summit. Light blue. This yoyo is killer. Tied with my Majesty as far as play goes.
My only complaint is that it plays heavier than I like. And it has ultralights. I can’t make it any lighter, I can only make it heavier. I would have liked if they made the yoyo itself lighter, and added medium-weight SEs for their preferred balance. Then someone like me could swap the SEs for something lighter. Because right now, the Side effects system for this yoyo is no benefit for me.
Just a thought.

I also wish it would have been lighter because once you add the SE it gets heavy. In the documentary i was hoping they would pick the lighter one, but it was everyone against paul dang i guess

Yeah…it seems like everyone in the documentary must have started off with UL SE’s. If they used medium weighted SE’s, they probably would have chosen the lighter one.
I’d really like it if they made a few runs of the lighter version.
