What I can say about being a Forum eXpert is this:
Nothing has changed since I became one other than having a few interesting abilities… I try to post the same as I always did which is short and sweet.
After Andre` let me know that I was going to become an eXpert I asked “do I need to do anything different” he said no just “be yourself”. So with that said I did and do my best to continue to do what I do. I try to help where I can and give my opinion when I feel it is an educated one to share. Many people in this thread would be excellent Forum eXperts.
Boo with all that. How much was the gift certificate…wasn’t it $50?

I think it’s good to be yourself, and not try to do what someone else on the forum is doing. Especially, if being yourself is recognized as it is. The Forum Experts on here are all nothing alike, so everyone does it their own way. You have been the most helpful to me when I have had yo-yo related questions. I usually come to you first, so I like the way you operate…low key, and with nothing to prove.
A private thank you is always good enough for me, the forum expert stuff is not even necessary. It must have been a nice surprise for you though. I was happy for you.
HEHE Thank you!! Yea I was shocked as I did not even think anything like that would ever happen… I average about 1 post per day… (most of them are bumps on my BST) so I was very caught off guard for sure…

Perhaps I have subconsciously attuned myself to be alert for such things, but lately I have noticed how often, no matter the topic at hand, threads degenerate into volleys of swelling acrimony over small slights. It has become wearisome to me. Maybe we should all endeavor to be more conscious of how our remarks might be received and be willing to let piffling offenses float past downstream without poking at 'em as they go by.

In all honesty, I would love to see mrcnja promoted to a head admin.
Having talked to him and seen how he works, he is the true leader we need for the forums in my eyes. He knows how to handle situations in a fair way and is incredibly kind and understanding.
Not saying the current mods arent decent, but I feel mrc would do an even better job.
I also feel myself and Samad would do quite well as mods as we are individuals with obvious great levels of knowledge and know how, as well as good social skills, plus experience in moderating forums elsewhere.
Q would be a great eXpert as he lends something absolutely great to the community, which is a fun loving image and true example of a someone who isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
Big Cat would be awesome as he is also an incredibly knowledgable and mature individual who I see fit to join the eXpert elite.
If all these changes were to take place, I believe that the forum would be a truly amazing place for all, and would bring futher growth to our community.
