2 years late but meeting Paul Kerbel irl back home got me heavy into yoyoing back in 2013. Bought a horizon from him at the time which I’ve kept and nowadays its absolutely shredded from smashing it into concrete.
After that watching Zach and Tessa on youtube really inspired me to get better at yoyoing.
Took a hiatus and now in 2023 I’ve still been really into Zach and Tessa, but I also adore Tony Sec’s simultaneously chill and intense flow, Hajime’s pure 1a and unbelievable 3a, Alann Santiago’s flow, Anthony Rojas’ artistry, Mir and Miri Kim’s just absolute wtf (I mean seriously impressive siblings), etc. Rn its a good good time to he a yoyo fan. So much talent
My eternal hero.
I have not seen him for more than 3 years now.
His yo-yo skills are still amazing.
Music use, technique and freestyle composition are all perfect.
Flashbacks are very narrow, but Yuki does dynamic tricks with ease.
The player I want to see return to competition the most.
I completely agree with your opinion!
His control skills are unmatched.
He is very clean.
kohei nishimura is also very clean, but he can’t match junsang’s slack and stability in all his moves.
One of the cleanest trick makers in the modern yo-yo scene!
Fall in love with Kohei style when I seen his videos at the Japanese national 2023, really amazing and stylish player, without consider the hooks on stage which is only a trick, his combos and slacks are super cool but I agree with you Junsang has more control and I think some tricks are a bit more mind blowing, really an inspiration wish he filmed more videos!
Hmmm hard question…shout out to Shu Takada, Takeshi Matsuura, Yuma Watanabe, Tsukasa Namba, Connor Seals, Hiro Irifune, Akitoshi Tokubuchi, Colin Beckford, Augie Fash, Sakatuca and more I can’t think of off the top of my head. I’m biased towards players that make tutorials also lol
This was my favorite freestyle performance from worlds this year. ( @MoosaK lets talk about how good this was)
This is another freestyle I loved from worlds by probably my favorite overall player.
This year junsang’s wyyc final was so sweet!
The songs and the technique matched each other. Too good, I’ve been listening to it almost everyday since I found the song on youtube lol.
Song title Martin Garrix feat. Clinton Kane - Drown
Beautiful song, beautiful tricks, no mistake performance, thanks junsang for the inspiration!
Probably Gentry Stein and Nate Daily are at the top for me just because I know them personally and they are really good guys. I also really like watching Conner Seals, and of course, Mir Kim.
