Fine art constantly flowing in and out of your daily lens … amazing.
Junior Software Engineer at a tiny startup, prior to that I used to be a mechanic (vintage F1) and freelance automotive photographer while going through college. SW fields turbulence has not been too inspiring being fresh out of college, but I am thankful for where I am at and am learning a ton daily.
I’m a 3d print wizard at my job, we are a 3d printing service and I do everything there that needs to be done.
Which gives me enough to have my wife work half time and take care of the kid (in europe stay at home parents is not as easy as america it seems) and buy a yoyo or two at the end of the month
Remember the cat job i have?
I made 80 dollars for taking care of the cat for 8 days
It’s fun, and you meet a lot of cool people, but admittedly a lot of contemporary art is not very good. It’s just sellable. I like to think of artwork a lot like Pokémon cards for the mega wealthy. Gota collect ‘em all.
Ha! Too funny. Well, I hope you have a few moments to pause and enjoy when a great piece comes through.
Cheers!
Yeah, I understand that, you want to make sure that you are going to stick with it before you get too crazy with your purchases. The breakaway throw was probably the hardest for me to get right and even now, I’m still working on perfecting it. Most tricks that I’m learning now are done from the breakaway throw, so I’m starting to refine it . Once you start landing some decently technical tricks, it’s a total high and I personally just keep chasing the dragon. I hope you keep with it because it really just gets more and more fun as you progress and learn new tricks.
Why that’s like ten Bucks a day!
Nice that’s not terrible. I take care of my cats for free…
Call me, im free this next week
For some reason she loves overpaying me. The cat has an automatic feeder and a water bowl fountain. So my job is the easiest u can get :D.
In all honesty I think it says a lot about your personality that you have actual appreciation for a good thing. Now whether you think that says good things or bad…I leave entirely up to you.
I mean the cat loves me and i love the cat. Also the other day, i taught her how to headbutt, so thats pretty cool :D.
Full time musician, producer and mastering engineer
26, been touring since 14. I stopped yo-yoing around then and came back to it this year, it’s incredible getting to spend all my money on the throws I never got to but as an early teen
Had an incredible quarter life crisis last year, I’ve outgrown and become tired of the corner of the music industry I’m in. I’ve worked with some incredible legacy artists but feel trapped, I think I’m too woke for the matrix of the industry. It’s so superficial.
I’m looking for something else to move into now, I’m married and have a little one due in October
So I’m tryna transition into another part time job to get XP while I still make bank from the few tours I’ve got this year until the baby comes.
It’s pretty nerve racking; I was that gifted super smart music prodigy kid who turned down med school to pursue music (and bragged about it).
I’ve never had to try too much at new things (worked my ■■■■■■■ musically but that’s about it), I’ve been pretty spoiled that I’ve never had to get another job until now.
Got my own debut album on the way FINALLY, I’ve spent way too looking working on other people’s art but not my own.
It seems strange having given a decade to a very successful career, but having nothing to show for it. So I’m excited to get my own name on my own canvas.
It’s inspiring to see everyone’s occupations in here and see the possibilities that are ahead of me!
You’re all awesome
Sounds like an enjoyable life so far although tough at times. Life is short even if we live to over 100, so must try and do what we love. Also, love to listen to your album when it comes out.
Our company has a proprietary Oil-in-Water “Nano-Emulsion” recipe for making cannabis oil water soluble.
We utilize clean label ingredients that are sustainable.
One-liter of Nano-Emulsion sells for $600.00 with lab tested results indicating (+ or - 85mg thc per 1-mL of Nano).
Nano-Emulsions are necessary for cannabis infused beverages and work better for edibles as the onset of medicine is quicker and more predictable for dosing.
I don’t buy yoyos anymore.
QRL on 40 meter CW.
Still in the process of running my 20 & 40 m long wire into a backyard tree. It should be pretty good. I have the tag line up about 80 feet. I am working on a sloper down to 10 feet with stubs for each band. Once complete I’ll let you know.
73, de Jeff WD4ET
My favorite bands. There is a 71’ random wire out on the balcony with LDG remote tuner. Works ok in a very restricted environment. Can throw it up only when using it. Good luck on your project. Are you familiar with the LICW Club? https://longislandcwclub.org/
Looks like a nice group. I am going to check them out. Thanks
