For those that have been curious about the hybrid shape I was speaking of, here is a photo of my Code 1.5- Both of them are both black colours so it has the appeal as if its a regular yoyo. When I first tried it at MWR I had it bape coloured.
This has one half Code1 and one half code2. I had to do the math behind it for each halves weight without the SE (a close guesstimate) and then with the SE. The Code2 half has Aluminum Ultralite and the Code1 half has the Code Side effect. This balances out the weight as close as it can possibly go.
The feel of the throw is noticable, it feels heavier then playing with a stock Code1 but lighter then the Code2 which really gives it that hybrid feel.
Tilting is always an issue with hybrid throws. Its not possible to get away from it. But, if you happen play pretty fast you will not notice it as much.
