I just got on one day and all of the words have advertisements attached to them…

You have a virus or adware/spyware installed. Get anti-virus software, use a broadband router and run Spybot Search & Destroy as soon as possible.

If it  is real bad you might need to run Windows Defender Offline.

I have used it and it worked great. It will walk you thru all the steps.
Try what Studio42 said first, and if that doesn’t work then try this.
