How long are the Yo-Yo String Lab Plutonium strings, I like using long string

Is it normal to run through 50 strings in about 2 months?? I go through about 4 or 5 strings in one practice session because they just get so frayed.

Some strings are stretchy, and some are not so much. So, to measure them I pre-stretch the string, place it on a table, pull it as tight as I can and measure the string while it’s fully stretched. I get about 54 inches to the knot for Plutonium.

Mmm it also depends the condition of your yo-yos and how often you wash your hands. Yet again mine lasted me that long, though I shouldn’t have used each string as long as I did. I used a string about an entire week until the string was unusable

Well… I always use gloves when I yoyo. On both hands too. Would that have something to do with it? I wear mostly cotton gloves.

fraying does not mean a strings is old or worn out but when the tension goes haywire then its time to replace that string

So would you guys say that you should only change your string when it gets harder to keep good tension on it? And that it has nothing to do with how fray the string looks? Thanks.

Hey guys. So what do you guys feel about Kitty String? I know there are many different kinds but is one kind better than others? Any information is helpful. Looking for something that lasts long and holds its tension and can do tight binds. Trying to take advantage of the 15% off sale. Thanks!

depends, i can get one of my strings to last 2 months yoyoing about 4 hours a day
