I bought a pair of loop 720s and was wondering what string I should use. All I have is some fat kitty and YYF string so far.
I DEFINITELY do not recommend kitty fat on loopers. I can tell you that from personal experience 
I figured fat kitty was bad just wasn’t sure. So should I buy more string or use the YYF
Just get some cheap cotton stuff from eBay.
so I should get cotton not polyester?
I use 50/50 cotton/poly. I like 100% cotton but it wears quickly. The cotton/poly blend feels a bit like cotton and lasts much longer.

Yes, cotton string has more friction so they come make it come back easier.
