so i have been looping with normal YYF string, i need to buy new string for 2A so i wanted to ask how cotton string is for looping. i heard some people use it so what is your opinion? or should i just go with normal YYF poly string?

Cotton string plays really nice, particularly on fixed axles, but it wears quickly. I use mainly slick 8 for my loopers. Works fine and doesn’t wear as quickly.

I use a 50/50 Cotten poly blend
Slick 8 is my favorite. I tried nylon by accident once. Never again.
