What’s your favorite looping yoyo?

One other aspect we hope will appeal to users of 720 is the availability of Go! as access to low cost alternative parts in the event of catastrophic accidents.

Also we have a new shape offering coming this year that will also take all the existing parts

It’s supposed to be a more consistent response. I haven’t noticed a significant difference.

Thanks for the reply.

The 720’s come with 2 red spacers, I read were some people replace one red for a blue. Is there any benefit to this configuration?

I ask because I am just starting into looping so I’m not sure if I could see a difference but if there is a good set up to start with I would like to try it.

I’ve never tried the red and blue spacer combo, but I think the stock configuration with two reds works well. I use a little thick lube to make it a touch more responsive.

I don’t want to do anything CRAZY. As long as I can do something like this, I’ll be content:

Using red/blue will make it less responsive and give you more spin time. It is the same setup used by Shu. I prefer it over red/red, but either red/red or red/blue is suitable for starting. No harm in trying it if you’re able to get your hands on a pair of blue spacers.

In order of preference in either case

Various BC/TK No Jives
A Yomega Fireball I modded to use a TK wood sleeve.
(Actually plays very sweet)
Spintastics Technic

Bearing yoyos:
Raider EX. Comes stock with various spacers.
Modded Raider (by a guy who new how to do it)
Stock Raiders and Bandai Hyper Raiders
YYJ Relic
YYF Loop 900

I’m a lot better at buying yoyos than throwing. When I got into looping I tried most of the current crop of loopers but didn’t think any were as good as the 720. In my opinion the only thing better is the 2020. I like the Initiators second. The Something LP is least similar to the 720 and goes together solid like an aluminum and not squishy. I like it a lot.

Man I am so jealous of your collection every time you post a photo.

Just ordered a 720 last night! What are the Sochi’s like? Seen them, but don’t hear anyone talking about them.

The downfall of the Sochi is it has a C bearing which makes it feel heavier. They are super clear which is cool.

Mail! It came in one day from YYE!

I had 720s but wanted another set. I bought the others based on recommendations in this thread. I’m gonna be 60 in November, goal is to be able to loop two handed on my birthday. I can do each hand by itself, but both at the same time causes my brain to hurt.

And the tops… well you can’t have too many tops.

When it comes time to blow out the “6-0” candles on your cake, you should whip out the loopers from some hip holsters, and two handed loop them so precise you flick out the frames.

That’d be nice but I’ll be happy with five or six loops from each hand. :upside_down_face:

Since the BlitzBall looper yoyo was so highly recommended in this thread I picked up a set. These yoyo’s are awesome and loop consistently. They have become one of the best looping yoyo’s I have tried, which is crazy because they are also one of the cheapest looping yoyos I have tried.

Still learning to loop, bought Loop720 and have been very happy

currently the blitz ball coz the weight hits the spot on my preference

At first I found the BlitzBall looper yoyo’s too light, but found this is an advantage because it is better for faster and consistent loops.

I know right!
I quit using the loop infinity S due to its heavy weight and I’m glad I brought the blitz ball out of curiosity, even I flick the yoyo in a light throw its still stable at loop tricks.
