I’d say the terrapin ceramic in many throws.
I like the od 10 ball in the code 2 and burnside, whatever came with the smooth move - which I terrapin coated is great in that one.
Also the grooved bearing that comes with the x3 la goutte is perfect in that throw.

I think I messed up my ceramic terrapin bearing. I accidently lubed it then cleaned it to unlube it and now it always responsive… Any tips?

Clean it with acetond and it will be like new.

Have you looked into the new Monkeyfinger lube?
I think it takes a nice spot along with yours and the v4m
So it’s one of my top 3 favorites, all very different.

Any liquid lube will slow a bearing down and it is not needed on the S/C ceramic.
Just spin it in acetone and flick dry.

Oh. I didn’t mean for the ceramic actually. My ceramic was terrapin coated.
Of course with any liquid there can be a bit (or in some cases huge) drag. But speed isn’t everything, sometimes smooth feel with more regents is a nice balance.

I like One Drop 10-Balls. They are awesome! De-shielded with a tiny drop of YYF thin lube and they play like a dream for about a month

Thanks for all contributing to this thread! I matched some of my bearings with specific throws and my yo-yos are twice as good now! :wink: I can’t wait to try out some of your recommendations! ;D
