What is your personality type?

Feel you. But I prefer to stay in shared reality as good as I can and only drift into space on a canvas, wasting paint… :joy:

I think my diagnosis is IIAH

We’d have good conversations over beers.

I had to look back cause I’ve already forgot but INTJ-A does fit me.

I seem to have shifted from INFP-T to INFP-A.

Tell me, fellow INTJ: do you hate small talk like I do?

Please, please avoid talking about what you are going to do on the weekend or ask what I’m doing.

The one I’m getting a lot is, ‘Are you looking forward to your holidays?’

It’s so hard for me not to answer that question sarcastically.

This is kind of creepy… it caused me to notice that I don’t ever act upon emotions and really aren’t bothered by what other people think about me. cool stuff.

INTP and I’m going to make a very INTP response to the whole it’s just as bad as astrology idea to say that knowing what we know about child development, astrology isn’t that crazy. You mean to say that people who were born in the same season and grew up through developmental milestones around the same times of year ended up with sometimes kind of similar personalities? What a controversial statement.

I was analyzied years ago.

The Professor told me I had Psychopathic tendencies. I told him if he ever said that again… I would Kill him.

Then, he said I am compelled to disagree with others. I told him I beg to differ.

Then he said I seem preoccupied with feeling like I am more intelligent by dismissing the intelligence of others. I told him he was obviously an Idiot.

Then, he said most likely, I find comfort in retreating to safety behind others. He was so wrong… and I couldn’t wait to get home and tell my Mommy.

He said my main problem was my brain. He said my brain was too tense.

I asked him, ‘What do you mean, too tense’?

He said, ‘I meant two tenths the size of a normal brain’.

Finally, I told him I demanded they do a brain scan on me.

I am happy to report the results came back negative.

I would stretch this out but my peace loving personality is coming out and I need to go hug a tree.

If anybody needs a phd in Psycology, you would make great material for a thesis.

I have always been told that when a person is insulted, or basically just slapped in the face, they should turn the other cheek

My reaction is more like swapping out the 10 count magazine for 30 count banana clip.

But I am more of a peace loving personality, honestly.

The way I look at it if there’s a battle, after the smoke clears, the more pieces the people are in, the better I like it.

Confusion. Do you agree or disagree with astrology now? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Agnostic? It seems plausible considering the variables introduced to childhood and the way lots of things affect development in and out of womb. It doesn’t have to be the alignment of the stars necessarily. The causality is possibly wrong but the conclusions aren’t far off. It’s like blaming Ra for the sun coming up, but the sun still comes up and virgos will still be virgos.

The last half of my post. What a controversial statement, etc was sarcasm which is hard to convey in text.

I haven’t read through the whole thread and am unsure of my personality type, I did take test long ago but my personality has likely changed.

I try to make my words very palatable for everyone so as to ensure they don’t get hurt feelings, regardless if they do the same. I’ve been in a lot of emotional pain in the past so I try to ensure others don’t experience that from my actions, even if people may think their actions warrant that I should.

I’ve worked hard to get to a place to where peoples rudeness or personal attacks are no longer taken personal but rather as an opportunity to love on them in hopes that it warms their heart and provokes change in them.

Their are some exceptions but they are outliers. So not sure what that makes me. Probably a push over people pleaser lol.

Thanks for your explanation. I got he sarcasm part. I just could not gauge, what your actual stance was on the subject. I think, I understand you better now.

I do not agree that astrology correlates with human development in any scale, if individual or in a population. The growth of a human is so multifactoral and circumstational, that it will never fit with a fantasy fixed system as astrology. A specially in context with the history of astrology, which is plagued with quackery.

I think one is badly adviced, to take more out of astrology, than a good example of the before mentioned Barnum effect.

But that is of course just my opinion on this matter.

Sounds like a human to me.

We can settle the astrology debate quickly. Are you a Taurus? If no, I concede.
