Does anybody here use a fixed axle Yo for comp
Edit: Poll below
Does anybody here use a mini Yo for comp.?
Edit: Poll below
… or a narrow Yo? Like OD Deep State at 28mm width?
Edit: Poll below
I just made a poll:
Do you use any of the following YoYo-types in competition?
- Fixie
- Narrow (under 35mm width)
- Organic
- Stainless Steel
- Mini (under 50mm diameter)
I would be willing to go on stage with a fixed axle knowing I’m getting several major deductions based on current judging
Evolve everyday
Gotta be the outlier 5 for my main, and HD, Onedrop thruline, and y04 border as backups
Ask @Benthrowsyoyo
Hydrogen Crash
I’m hoping to compete this year so I’m most likely going to use the yyf moonlight I’m stuck on it it feels so powerful
Wraith if I am learning the trick. Loadout when I am polishing.
why the switch? i only ask because the loadout is quite capable to learn on. just curious
If I competed, I wouldn’t do too hot lol. But I would use the Monarch or Emotion
For 4a I’ve been using the Ciel but I’m debating swapping it out for the Bound/Boundless but we’ll see. They’re all so good! I don’t compete much in 1A but if I do it’ll probably be with the Evolve or a yyfr bimetal.
The latest contest I competed in, I used the SnapBack and Loop 720! - Also used the Wooden YYF Legend Wing in the King of Nationals Tournament if that counts!
For metals I am a little bias and would probably use the KO or Uppercut
i like the extra spin and stability of the wraith when learning. Once i have it down the Loadout is more agile and quicker to me.
But now the Banshee T52 just covers all bases
