Is there a name for the trick in which the player manipulates the strings of boingy boing with the nonthrow-hand thumb? I’ve seen it used by a variety of competitors and would really appreciate a tutorial.

It looks like just a boingy boing with alternative fingering. I attempted it however but found that my hand was just getting in the way. Probably didn’t help that I was using a full sized throw either. I’ll continue to experiment with it though and see what works best for me.
