What is the best string to play 2A in 2020?

I have the big question, currently what is the best rope to play 2A, Fist Salud or Poly Normal Kitty or Kitty Slim ?, My skill level is beginner in 2A, i have loop 720 YYF with spacer blue and red,
and coming 2020 YYF.

Cant go wrong with normal kitty at 70-80 cm

My favorites for 2a are:

  • First Salud Loop String Lite
  • Kitty normal
  • YoTricks High End regular

I use about a 75cm length, not including the loop.

It depends on your setup a bit, but I also use 720s with 1 red and 1 blue spacer, and all those strings work well.

I use the Loop2020’s, and I’ve really been liking the Fist Salud string. Seems to last longer than the Kitty Slim or Kitty Normal that I had been using.

Yep, definitely the longest lasting string I’ve tried for looping.

As a new 2a player. I actually liked using the nylon kitty string. I just like the feel of it a lot more.

I use Kitty Normal. Shu Takada also revealed he uses Kitty Normal as well when he was telling in YouTube
how he preps his Loop 2020 for practice. White Kitty Normal to be exact.
