My first bimetal was Vosun Gravity Escape. I loved it. My favorite bimetals to date are : Edge Beyond, Outlier 2/3 (3 has issues), UNPRLD Flash and Magic YoYo Kitana. The MYY bimetals are pretty cheap nowadays and still pretty damn decent(Focus, Stealth etc.). My most happiest bimetal buy was Iyoyo Steel which is no longer in production  Honorable mention and comfortable and damn good playing organic is Top Yo Twin Drive

I don’t own any G2’s because the exclusivity and him not making bimetals (for the longest time) had turned me off because I really do seem to gravitate towards them. Then, when he startred making them I kind of assumed why would I go with somebody who has so little experience with bimetals, which being more seasoned now I realized was silly considering the dude’s quality control is one of the best you could get. I do really respect and admire the guy, his silicone tutorial for flowable was the best at learning how to do it properly, keeping the tube up straight as well as the cap are still methods I do to this day. I learned a lot from him. I do want some of his yoyos in the future somewhere sometime.

C3 and Iyoyo seem to be the companies that I respect on a more mainstream level. From the Speedaholic to all the crash series, I still have a PoryCrash (don’t like the spacers part) that I love to play with. Under-rated for sure. Love the 64 gram weight yoyos and gravitate towards the lighter end of the spectrum myself.

I don’t own any Turning Point yoyos, but I had always wanted one, they are one of the most beautiful looking yoyos out there. Sometimes was stopped me was I got into lighter yoyos and they seem a little bit in the 65 gram (normal spectrum range) but that may not be the case or I’m overthinking my decisions of the past and are wrong.

The company Wild keeps coming up, their yoyos look like they are top-notch, their expense has turned me off a little bit but I keep hearing how great the are so they seem to be worth the price from what you guys are saying. Thank you so much for answering. I did not and still don’t know much about the company, except every yoyo they make seems to look like it’s a top competitor choice out there just by looks alone.

What would you do for a Klondike? Like the old commercial for ice cream

Never heard of them, looked into it, wow, reminds me of like a Draupnir but I’ve never owned one so I might be reaching here. Thank you so much for answering, I don’t care so much about availability and I put date out of curosity, I bought an UNPPRLD Flash way after it was out and it’s one of my favorite yoyos and I only paid 30 bucks for a new one.

A few of you have mentioned C3, and along with the crash series (I own a hybrid Porycrash) I have always meant to get more of their yoyos. The Iyoyo Shooting Star and the machined Speedaholic were really the best plastics out there for awhile, a testament to both of them.

The Alchemik Roentgen for me. Smaller diameter, dense and powerful and most importantly… slow. The ideal throw for a sluggish tech thrower wannabe like myself.

The binds on that thing… Tight, slick and “crunchy”.

Specs:

  • Diameter: 54.96mm
  • Width: 48.01mm
  • Weight: 66.08g
  • Gap width: 4.61mm

Connection from Dressel Designs is my favorite, but I’m the owner so I’m a bit biased.

Non-biased, you can’t go wrong with a Motion

I love the Brass Exia. Very fun and controllable, comfortable in the hand, and obviously powerful!

Mine is the Sputnik Nix, closely followed by the W1LD Unbound! Such great yoyos man!

So many good bimetals. Hard to list them.

C3 noah and Galaxy Dinosaur. Honestly everytime i grab them im blown away.

I grab my DON by ZGRT most often - D bearing organic, just lovey.

And then there is anything by Motion_YoYo. Everything they put out is out of this world.

I have to agree with a lot of the above mentioned yoyos, Exia, Banshee SS, Edge beyond and infinity, chopstick gorilla, Inception, are also up there in my “can’t believe how good this yoyo is” group.

I’m just going to stop now…

TP Anubis for me!

I’m only a year and a half in and a budget thrower, so I have to vote for the AceYo Mercy 7. It is affordable, has a lot of spin power, and is the size I like. I’m sure it’s not as smooth or refined as many of the others mentioned here, but for someone still early in their yoyo journey it’s worth looking at. I bought mine from a Chinese site since I wanted the AceGirl design that the one US AceYo vendor didn’t have at the time.
