I’ve been looking at TopYo’s products and I noticed that they use 7003 aluminum in their more recent releases. I was looking it up and it looks comprable to 7075, but maybe easier to anodize. Is that accurate? I’m a biochemist, not a material physicist

I have the TopYo ColosSUS. It feels nice overall maybe a “bit” stronger than 6061 but it ain’t 7075 or 7068. I haven’t dinged it too hard yet so take that with a grain of salt. It is not a typical alloy so I was curious about it too before I bought, but couldn’t find much online. From what I could gather it seems the properties are very similar to 6061, but I’m no scientist.

I know this is an old thread but since I could not find the information on this forum I had to do my own research.
So according to my research 7003 is about 35% stronger than 6061.
