Well, simply put, what happened to Attybud? He was an influential and quintessential member of this community. As of Halloween 2013, he completely fell off the face of the earth. I remember seeing an old post on YoyoNation of him somewhat liquidating his collection, did he quit? Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Well, his pattern is consistent with a lot of other throwers. He’ll throw (or collect) for a while and then life gets in the way and yoyos get moved to the back-burner for a while. It’s nothing new or out of the ordinary.
Sounds right. It’s a shame, his collection was arguably top 10.
His BST was always top 3 in my book. I don’t see any reason to panic though, I’m sure he’ll be back.
