The new Ghostbusters is the best movie I have seen in years. People laughed, cried, cheered and clapped during the movie. It was the first time I have heard a crowd react like that for a movie in many years.

Vivarium.

Didn’t really understand the premise and thought, sounds boring. Watching it should make you cringe at some audio, spoiler alien baby screams… like Kubrick maybe? Then wonder and think and enjoy it more after watching it.

Just rewatched Hereditary. That movie is so amazingly terrifying.

Just watched a couple American Horror Story seasons, Murder House and Apocalypse.

I loved them both and it kept me wanting more on each episode so be careful if your probe to binge watching. If your offended by anything, I’d look elsewhere.

The Godfather. Just watched the first of three. AMC used to do marathons on Thanksgiving but I cancelled my cable last summer. I still have the boxset I borrowed from someone in 2006. I’ve seen them all at least a dozen times but they never get old. Tomorrow I will watch Christmas Vacation.

It does reward a second watching. I’ve seen it maybe 6 times now after showing friends. I find that it’s a decent intro to horror for horror averse folks who don’t like gore/jump scares. Tony Collette’s performance is excellent.

Lupin, on Netflix - Season 2. Really like this show, and looking forward to Season 3.

Midnight mass was an unexpectedly good show. Locke & key was another show worth a watch. And they brought back the Goldbergs.

The person moved and I have seen him since then…

Just finished The Lord of The Rings ( extended cuts) and The Hobbit over the last two weeks. Yeah I know they’re ancient history…
In any event both series are 2-3 hours too long. A lot of needless scene padding IMO.

Arcane: League of Legends. An absolute masterwork of animation and storytelling. 10/10.

Now, I’ve never played the video game. Never had any interest in it (I’m not into MOBAs). But I can honestly say that this series is the best thing I’ve seen on tv all year. It doesn’t come across as a video game adaptation in any way, but rather plays like a trilogy of animated films of the highest caliber (it is broken up into three “acts” of three episodes each).

Rather than go through all the elements that make it a phenomenal piece of art and entertainment, I’ll just suggest you search for “Arcane” on YouTube and watch the reviews of it. There’s a reason it has a 100% critics RT score and a 98% audience RT score. The hype on this is well deserved.

Now I’m not saying that it will appeal to everyone. But for anyone who likes sci-fi, fantasy, steampunk, and high octane action in visually stunning animated form, I think you will be as blown away by it as pretty much everyone who has seen it.
