Never saw the series. Saw the film at the cinema when it came out, another good Coen brothers film.
That’s on my list of films I’ve never seen, but need to. The last film I saw was Barbie: A Fairy Secret.
I’m not going to ask.
It’s better than Barbie: Rockin Royals, but not as good as Barbie: Spy Squad.
Barbie: Casino Royale?
Been re-watching a bunch of Godzilla movies to get ready for the new one this week.
The Barbie movies are all pretty bad, but Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse is hilarious. It’s a (official Mattel licensed) web series of satirical short skits. I think it’s my favorite of the kids’ shows, after of course My Little Pony.
Oh man you are in for a treat. All seasons are EXCELLENT and highly recommendable. Go for it.
I’m now having Barbie flashbacks. Barbie in Die Hard… yippee ect ect. Barbie in Starwars… Luke I am your Father…yeah thats really messed up. Barbie in Reservoir Dogs as, you guessed it Mr Blond.
Barbie… I’ll be back Terminator.
Film watched again last night. Coraline the animation film, i was toying with watching Wallace & Gromit The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Rim of the World on Netflix.
It was so terrible. Like, really bad. Like, some cheap half assed knock off of Stranger Things.
It was so bad, that I couldn’t stop watching.
Those poor poor child actors. They probably just completely ruined any chance of a future acting career by being associated with the film in any way.
It was like watching a terrible sequel, but it was the first one.
So, so bad.
Speaking of which, I can’t wait for the new series!
Earlier I watched a film called The Strangeness. Mid 80s very low budget horror monster movie which is surprisingly good. Well, I liked it anyway.
Also last night watched a Dr Who story from 1982 called Earthshock which is great
HYPE!
Sorry kids, we can’t go watch fireworks tonight because STRANGER THINGS!!!
Lol
I’m going to take that as a personnel recommendation and watch it tonight. I love B movies.
You have been warned! It wasn’t even a good B movie, like some. It was just cringy in all the worse ways.
Yep thats my kind of film.
So bad it’s worse:
I watched Howl’s Moving Castle yesterday and I watched Ponyo today.
Studio Ghibli
I found Ponyo a bit to weird, I think it was the voice of Liam Neeson and i kept expecting the phrase " I have a particular set of skills".
I’ve been watching Chernobyl on HBO, it’s amazing. I’ve always been fascinated by this place, the abandoned cities around it. I really feel for the people of that disaster, they lost everything and had to be relocated.
I found it somewhat entertaining. Had to stop watching when kids were in the room though. Since when do they drop GD’s and S bombs in a pg13 movie? I sure don’t recall those being thrown around in pg13 films when I was a kid.
