Not enough music cues or hype moments. Usually, when you enter your first contest, you’re not gonna win, so you might as well make something memorable. Instead of trying to place as high as possible in your first contest, try putting your focus on getting the audience hyped, or doing something creative that most other competitors aren’t doing.
