Tossing my Markmont Butterfly. This may be the coolest Butterfly in my collection. The logo switching from white to black depending on lighting puts it over the top.

Edit: It’s cool that you can see it wanting to turn black in the picture.

What do you think of it with caps?

I had mine set up with them for a couple of weeks and I liked the extra weight it brought.

Really enjoying it! Haven’t played it a whole lot yet today, but it’s been super fun, I’m sure I’ll do some more comparisons with and without the caps down the line!

Still patiently waiting for the rumored side effect version if that ever comes to fruition :eyes:

Dang! Mine came with a bearing but it was caked full of grease. I tried cleaning it but it’s still pretty bad. Probably will let it soak for a while and try a different bearing. This one vibrates so stinking bad though it’s almost unplayable. It does play better without the caps though so it’s kind of weird. May mod it and see if I can tune it up but definitely not worth the money spent ($14.99)

Always play without caps. I always put a ten ball flat race in them. I spent years sourcing the cold fusion bearing for my MGs, and then Duncan emailed me with an offer. I bought.
The sounds of an MG singing are joyful. I don’t miss mine because I have others. But for the first $$$$ on the market it is exceptional. I Have’ owned many MGs. I’ve also returned many MGs. If only it wasn’t so antiquated. Cough, cough, Death, cough, cough, Magnum….
