What did you get in the mail, 2024?

The most Amazing thing happened.

I had a package coming from Germany in August.
It just kind of vanished.

September October, November, December, January now it’s February

The package was located at the proxy shipping/Receiving station.

It came in the mail today… February 13Th. Approximately six months after it was sent.

The package looks slapped around, be a little bit like a drum, Torn open. Haphazardly tape shut and came looking like a melted snowcone made out of cardboard and packaging paper.

I’m at work right now and my girl texted me some images. I asked her does it feel like there’s anything alive inside? She said I don’t know? I told her well go ahead get industrious be adventurous get a switchblade open that sucker up show me what’s inside?

Seeing how I’m 21 miles away at this moment I have no idea whether the axel got to tweaked a little bit? But she sent me a couple images and the gap view image looks pretty cool.

It’s an ILYY Bias.

Like they say… Better late than ever.

Update> when I got home tonight, I gave the Bias a few tosses and it not only spins dead smooth, but it doesn’t even have any marks on it. The way the packaging looks, I wasn’t expecting ‘no damage’.

But since the original shipping date was August 23rd/2023, obviously miracles can come in pairs, lol…

Crazy. Never seen anything like that. Looks like your package took a detour via the last rugby world cup. Nice that it has arrived after all (somehow). Hope the Bias is still all right after all of that :+1:t3:

The fourth law of thermodynamics still holds: every shipment will eventually turn up.

I bought one of these when they first came out a few years ago and always regretted selling it. Finally just got it back.

Big Sun by @TheThrowingGnome. I like it so far. Long spin times. Big diameter. Looks amazing in person.

Love these monthly shipments! Gives me opportunity to get yoyos and colors I normally wouldn’t buy myself. Today the G2 Shadowstone Grunt came in and its a lil banger! First truly grey yoyo in my collection and these small speckles in the ano are awesome. Need more time for final judgement but honeymoon is super strong here. Probably the best undersized yoyo I’ve played yet.

Many things happen in cycles.

Every year people pay taxes, property taxes, fitness membership renewals, Amazon Prime subscriptions, look forward to the Super Bowl and/or World Series, etc…

Every four years, we watch the Olympics, vote for a President, etc. The list goes on……

The results may surprise us, but the events are no surprise.

Often, things do not have anything to due with a cycle. They just happen. We may think about then. Or dream about them. Or even pray for them, lol…
Then again, sometimes things happen that we never anticipated.

Occasionally, the best things happen out of the blue.

11 years ago, General Yo released an Excellent yo-yo named the KLR. It was a very popular yo-yo that was very well received and reviewed. And then, as Ernie designed newer models, the KLR just faded out to ring in the New Products.

So here we are 11 years later this Amazingly good yo-yo has returned. The KLR is back in the mix. And even with all the good yo-yos available today, I predict the KLR is going to be a Hit all over again.

FD50 case came in today! Everything fits nice and snug. Almost holds everything I’ve got… Have a few more stashed away in the old infinite illusions star foam backpack :joy:

Got rid of all of my cases (just the cases, kept the yoyos) except for the II backpack over a decade ago. This one looked good and did what I wanted: got most of them out of the big pocket of the backpack

Three plastic fantastics and one Diorama in a colorway I don’t know but will just refer to as Candy Apple Red.

What yoyo is the klr sat on?

My dear team mate @AKYOYOMIKE basically gifted me my first Ti yoyo, we did a trade, I sent him a yoyo and he sent me this one.
I wanted so much a Radius from long time and then I even got a Radius TI, after 10 years of yoyoing my first titanium yoyo, I deserved it honestly lmao so cool.

Thanks so much Mike, it plays amazingly and is so cool!

It arrived 3 days earlier than the estimated arrival date.
Thank you so much empathy.
It has a cool texture that aluminum alloys don’t have. And it sounds like a titanium yo-yo.
