Utter impulse buy it hit that small responsive itch I have and I couldn’t help myself. Out if the box it’s essentially a smaller imperial Al kind of skin responsive at times in play but add some grease to the bearing and a thicker string and who knows how it’ll be. (Hopefully nice and responsive)

I used to be in the same camp as you. And the. I got a clear yo-yo and realized how beautiful it is in person. It’s so bright and silvery! I now have a few. Still tend to orient to blue and purple, but I won’t shy away from clear now. I like how it can go with anything. Like any string colour.
