What did you get in the mail, 2023

Here’s a tip that I’d like to share for side effect yo-yos. If you need to take it apart. First take two little bits of painters tape and stick them symmetrically on each rim + use a pen to mark exactly where they line up. You can then use this to retune it when you put it back together or especially if switching out side effects. This has been very effective for me to maintain extremely smooth OD yo-yos. :call_me_hand:

Can’t you just crank them until infinity? Bc if the tapered section is lubed like how they recommend, the yo won’t strip. This was what originally made me want a side effect Yoyo. I don’t know though I just have a pano and am curious.
Edit got a deep state too but I haven’t had to open that up yet

I’ve only had two OD yoyos in the past, but yeah one of my friends recommended to just really crank them tight, and that def made them smoother. It actually felt sort of unreal going gorilla mode on them when screwing them together, but it consistently worked.

You’re probably right that at a point all the torque is just going onto the o-rings.

Are you for real? Is the government your best friend? Or do you just work for them . Let the guy enjoy his yo-yo picture without being a party pooper. Also the company does that…

I don’t blame him lol. I’m the biggest a-rt defender and I’ve been thinking the same. Didn’t seem legal when I first saw so I think it’s interesting to talk about.

Pretty unique idea to use money as an authentication paper but it’s actually genius. Would probably be pretty easy to forge a fake ti grail but to forge actual money? Good luck

I think it’s smart and unique. Maybe I’m just a rebel because it certainly doesn’t make me cringe. I also find it funny everyone knows the law but they don’t actually at all . Also if it was illegal I really doubt even the government would care about something so petty

You also don’t seem to know much about a-rt based off the question you asked in the other thread but a-rt will be scrutinized a lot more than any other company. Part of why he’s cringing is because a-rt did it but they won’t admit that.

Why is it cringe that a-rt wrote on a bill? Let em write on some more :joy:. And why would they admit they did it? Lol. So all of you people can roast em on a forum. Not trying to be an ***hole. But genuinely confused why you guys care about this

And you have to reply in eveything to do with them. You’re just as bad as me.

If they hurt your feelings so much just ignore them

I have never thrown an art yo-yo…. I don’t know jack about em… but I’ll say you come off as a bit of a hater to say the least :joy:. Lemme guess you’re a government employee too? :joy: upset about the defacing of a bill? Imagine having such hatred towards a yo-yo company of all things

i wasn’t talking to you :white_heart:

You’re still a hater :joy:… and that’s a nice way of putting it. You’re just mad your yo-yo didn’t come in a can :joy:

Why would they need to forge money my guy. They can just use another bill and write the same thing on it.

It would need to match the serial number of the bill. Each bill was posted on the website so you can match it

Honestly I was pretty impressed with the system, seems like a neat way to verify authenticity. Now you just have to hope you don’t really need $5.

a truly amazing yoyo… I took everything off it right away and its lightness makes it agile, fast and with really long rotation times
