Nice
Imagine someone with trypophobia scrolling trhough the thread
A beautiful cat. So sorry for your loss.
Speaking of clyw, with these two, only five remain until my collection is complete. Not counting Klondike or other new releases
My favorite yoyo colors are red, aqua, gold, and purple (I also really like polished raw). I have lots of throws in all of those colors, but I would say red is definitely the most represented color in my collection.
Man its comments like these that keep me doing what I do. I really appreciate the support and the kind words. Very happy you are enjoying them
@Woozie is right about the bag packaging for Type-X string. It was one of the the first strings from YYSL, and to keep the price the same, I’ve kept it in the zip bag. @faceplant, PM me your address and I’ll send you a “cool tube” and instructions on how to put your Type-X in it so you can pull out one string at a time.
I’m visiting my family for the first time in a while at my childhood home, and an old neighbor saw me yoyoing in the front yard. She said “Hey Ray, are you yoyoing? That’s weird, I just found an old yoyo in the house, do you want it?” Of course I said yes, please. Here it is.
She thinks it belonged to one of her brothers, both of whom were about a decade older than me (I’m 52), and both of whom are now deceased.
Great story! I’ll beat everyone else to the punchline: it will be perfect for Around the World…
Lol, I hadn’t thought of that!
I have an update for you @Orion22. Just got an email stating my case is out for delivery. Yesterday it was still in Pre-shipment. You should get yours before you know it.
Oh man, I used to have one of these (40 here).
Fairy Crystal Lab counterweights came in today! Not gonna get a lot of time on them right now but got a few test throws and these are very cool. Watermelon vibes from the pomelo with the green cube summery! The soft resin plus some practice on my luftverks has given me the confidence to do some 5a on metals over grass. Still working on meltdowns and reverse bee stings, and I can get like one revolution of butterfly. Very beginner stuff but it’s coming along.
Probably not gonna do too much 5a until after Nationals, since they’re local to me this year and I want to do 1a in whatever noob devision (sport?) so I have to work on a 1 minute routine. I don’t care if I miss every trick and get last I just think it’ll be fun to try! Plus when people ask if I’m there to compete I can say “Yes!”
Cardboard Steamboat is one of my favorite yoyos.
Never hear much about it.
I haven’t heard much about till I saw it for sale on the BST. Looked it up and loved the shape of it. I’m glad I acquired it, it’ll be in my daily rotation for a while.
