Three incredibly awesome CWs from @DedHed

Finally after months and months of saving I got the UNPRLD - Seiji and I added the Top yo - Colossus S to the order.

Usually I write couple of words about the yoyos I buy as first impression but for the Seiji I do not feel like it, I am extremely biased this time, I love UNPRLD from the first time I tried the Abduction and use it until destroyed it and the the Elimination also dinged until complete death poor it.
I do really love the way Junsang Park play and design the Seiji and pretty much I love everything about this brand from the style of the brand to the team, I just gonna leave here that this yoyo is a super bomb, also I love this Sochi edition and I wanted it in this colourway, it’s the first time I spend more than 100$ for a yoyo but I have to say it is worth it, great quality and insane player (rejections are a dream with this) and I stop here because I can continue lol

The Top yo - Colossus S, I can talk about it, no bias at all, I took it because with the good season I start to play outside all the time and go to yoyo meetings frequently and I am literally destroying and dinging all my good yoyos to the point that this is annoying me at myself (never cared about dings but when you start to ding expensive yoyos even second hand is a bit annoying or have anything not dinged in your bag), so I just look around for cheap bimetal options that I can destroy without problems and have fun trying hard tricks and risky without worries, my eyes fell on this Top yo, no reviews around except one only single video on youtube, I liked the shape, the specs and is 50$, stainless steel rims and 7003 aluminium body (I know 0 about materials so idk how good it is lol), it seemed a good throw so I decided to risk and pick it up as it will be anyway dinged very soon lol
I played with it couple of hours so those are the first impressions: this yoyo is amazing I am just speechless lol, for 50 bucks they really gift you a overall amazing competition machine yoyo, the weight and the feel on the string are just right, is nimble, powerful and strong, great horizontal player and incredibly stable, super good spin time and even the original bearing is great, it is not the most comfortable throw cause the way the rims are done some people can find it a bit “hard” on the catch back to the hand but I do like it and I have no problems with it, it reminded me a lot the Krown in the way it plays.
I think it’s crazy how the quality raised up on those years and what 50$ can offer nowadays, this one is a yoyo which everyone can easily use to compete at every level even at worlds (also love this colourway), I can’t speak about the material but the quality is very good also the yoyo is glass smooth not even a bit of vibe which is crazy, if you can’t spend a lot of money but want a great player I think this yoyo can be one of the answers or even if you just want a beater packed with competition characteristics.

I’m glad to see another good review for the Colossus S. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and it should be here soon. I bought it for similar reasons to you and I’m looking forward to giving it a go.

Take my good word as another positive review of the Colossus S, I might be crazy but it gives me some TP vibes. Love mine.

@DedHed counterweights! My only regret is I didn’t order more of these, the clarity, detail, weight, everything is amazing as always.

I missed that pre sale but i could easily fill two of those. If they do another run ill be super tempted. Looks like a pretty solid case.

Uh-oh! Sounds like “collector-ism” is setting in! 4/5 doctors recommend buying another yoyo as the most effective treatment.

They said there will be a general sale coming in the next few weeks on their website and some should also be going to YYE!

Ahahahah after I dinged basically all my favourite bimetals: my Duncan Gtr-Js, the Krown and the Durendal (this one heavily sadly) and the Qi that is basically a crate on the moon now, I was like “ok enough is enough”, mostly because some dings need to be sanded a bit or they start to cut the hand which is the most annoying feeling

Maybe you could play over a yoga mat when outside

Try to use the back of a spoon to press it down first before sanding this worked for me when I had a ding cutting strings

FD50 day! So excited for this case.

Here’s a peek at my side effect collection while I figure out how I want to organize things now…

What a mail day. When someone sent me a surprise trade, I never would have expected what I received. A Gnome arrived from @bobafret. It’s such a fun yo-yo. It’ll definitely be put to good use. I just hope what I traded for it is worth it.

Sitting on top of that box, was this Freshly Dirty Steamboat from @Lilweewee.
Love the shape and color of this one. Toot toot.

My FD50 arrived as well. Put my red yoyos into it.

This constitutes about 80% of my red (metal) yoyo collection.

Wait that’s sick. I wish I was as dedicated to one color but I kinda enjoy variety.
