Sorry for your loss Chris.
What a lovely photo, Buddy is obviously a sweetie and sorry for your loss
Thanks, folks. I was not seeking condolences and only mentioned my loss because a lot of times certain yoyos are connected to rough times in our life and help us get through them. This was one for me.
If you ever need or want to talk my man I’m here
The new valkyrie was so good that I had to buy another one for backup
Shoutout to @arknia for the great yoyo, now I need more.
The Wolverine BvM has that chalky feeling. It’s awesome. Definitely characteristic of old school throws.
From Rain City Skills, one of these things is not like the others…
And from Yoyofactory, a Northstar, the surprise monometal and the Trust Ben…
Nice haul
There’s definitely a unique feel to each. ILYY imo are the kings of unique finishes. CandyBlast is definitely a favorite of mine, and incredibly unique.
C3yoyodesign Plasma Crash has arrived. Took a bit playing with it and thinking it’s good but then it really hit me. This is good
Skipped on this, but excited for my Klondike!
I did just the opposite Let us know what you think of the Klondike, I’m without doubt it’s going to be outstanding. And now I want one to compare the two
Maybe a little mini “swap for a week” type deal is in order at some point!
Can’t wait to finish this very busy work day so that I can try this thing out.
On another note, I thought YYSL string is supposed to come in a cool tube that’s easy to yank a single string out of?
My Ammo and Plutonium came in tubes, but I also ordered Type X and came in a bag. Maybe the Type X has been around longer than the other and didn’t get a package upgrade yet.
They’re hard maple candy, I don’t really have a sweet tooth so I haven’t tried them yet to be honest, They’re a part of the candy collection now
Sounds like a solid theory. Slightly disappointing, but not really a big deal. It’s really the larger packs that are more of a pain to separate a string from. It’s quick to pull a string out of a 10 pack even if twisted together. But the bag definitely doesn’t isn’t as interesting and cool as the tube.
So close (yet so far) to wrapping up work and trying out the SHFX with the Type X. The SHFX is twice the price of my previously most expensive yoyo. I couldn’t resist grabbing one because the FX is my favorite (though now I am also really liking the Null that I recently ordered).
Clear Weekender! Thanks @DocPop for using such distinctive packaging; it helped me rescue it from my work mailroom before leaving for the weekend.
That is always the goal! I’m glad we got you hooked up, enjoy your new throw!
